If the car is equipped by an automatic gearbox, please read it in BDM, no in OBD. In fact, on OBD you cannot read the whole part of the calibration. Automatic gearbox software use the first part of the calibration that you cannot read in OBD. If you don't do that in BDM, the performance will be not improved.
